I have a blog!

So, a lot of people have been asking if I have a blog.....well now I do!

For my first post ever I will just do some basic info and background on me and my family!

I am 29 years old.  My birthday is December 14.

I went to Epiphany Catholic School for k-5, Coon Rapids Middle School 6-8, and Coon Rapids High School 9-12.

I went to UW-Eau Claire for 2 years. Then went to Metropolitan State for a few more!

I work at Osseo Senior High as a special ed para in our Autism Connect program.  The kids I work with are high functioning and fairly independent.  Every day it is something different which is frustrating but entertaining at the same time!

I married my best friend, James on June 20, 2009. 

I have one son, JT (James Thomas) who is 2.  He was born on December 26, 2010. (poor thing doesn't really get to celebrate on his real birthday because its so close to Christmas!)

We have a cat named Alex who is old and isn't impressed with us since we brought JT home!  He's a good cat though and is very gentle and takes abuse from a toddler very well!

We live in Coon Rapids and would love to be able to fix up our house but those projects take money so we will do a little at a time and eventually it will be our dream home (if I keep saying this it WILL come true!!).

I am the oldest of three children.  I have a sister, Katie, married to Dustin, and a brother, Robert.  

My mom and dad thankfully live close to us and we spend a lot of time with them. 

I have Crohn's disease and have battled with it since 2005.  I finally had my colon removed in Jan 2013 and now have an ileostomy.  It has given me life back and I wish I would have done it sooner!
